A Sustainable Model for Recovery

We have built our proprietary Reintegr8 curriculum to change the direction of substance use disorder.

Our world has a need.
We have a solution.

The Reintegr8 model was developed to break the cycle of addiction in Appalachia. We have created the model and the infrastructure to change the course of this devastating substance abuse epidemic. Our goal is not only to “help women in recovery”— this model is designed to be scalable and help thousands of women, families, and communities across the country.

Continued support for women in recovery

Reintegr8 is housed inside of our Appalachian Behavioral HealthCare facility in South Charleston and provides continued support for women in recovery. The program guides them in changing the narrative of their stories through 3 Chapters.

⸻ CURRICULUM

Chapter 1

Includes addressing the underlying causes of addiction including adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), psychoeducation, coping skills, behavior modification, and self-awareness.

Chapter 2

Participants engage in our job skills training at our social enterprises while they continue their therapy. They also participate in basic life skills for adult roles/responsibilities, ACES reduction, finance, effective communication, health / wellness, and nutrition.

Chapter 3

Our participants are helped in securing full-time employment with one of our Community Hiring Partners and finding safe and sober housing for this next positive phase of their life.

Chapter 4

For participants who feel they need additional support after graduating our in-patient program, they have the opportunity to continue working with one of our community hiring partners, and step down into a sober living environment.

Our Social Enterprises are key to making our proprietary model practical. Pollen8’s Social Enterprises help women by raising socio-economic status and providing a sense of belonging. From restaurant and catering experiences, to agricultural skills—women will learn to embrace their purpose, break the monotony of life, improve their financial position, and have the means, knowledge, and resources to flourish in recovery.
